With over 80 wonderful students dressed in equally fantastic costumes, we celebrated Halloween right this year with the First Annual Halloween Extravaganza at English Village.
We started off the afternoon with sidewalk chalk and hot, spiced apple juice in the west parking lot. While the parents mingled and chatted, the kids let their imaginations run wild. Seeing so many talented, excited, costumed kids decorating the English Village parking lot was truly an amazing sight!
As the sun began to set, we moved indoors and the afternoon of photos, art and games began. The children could have their picture taken by Hiroki at the spooky Halloween photo booth, or after they’d had their fill of glam shots , they could head over to Chris’ Halloween Carnival and try their hand at bowling and the ring toss. To finish things off, the kids got crafty at Meirav’s finger puppet, balloon monster and commemorative badge making stations.
Of course, the afternoon ended with a round of trick-or-treat and plenty of tasty snacks and sweets for everyone.
If this all sounds like fun and you’re sad that you missed it, don’t worry! We’ll see you at English Village for next year’s Halloween celebration. Happy Halloween!
